Who leads the Group?

The Group Executive Committee

The Group ExCom (Executive Committee) defines the strategies proposed to the Board of Directors, and oversees Transdev’s business activities. It is responsible for defining its industrial vision, strategy, values, management culture, and priority targets.

 

The Group ExCom is composed of the following members:

Thierry Mallet
Chairman and Group Chief Executive Officer
A graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique, ENPC and MIT (MSc in Transportation), he began his career at the French Ministry of Equipment before going on to hold senior executive positions at Veolia and Suez.
Virginie Fernandes
Group Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer

Head of Transdev Autonomous Transportation Systems and Cityway
A graduate of NEOMA Business School, she started her carrier at Ernst &Young, ODDO BHF and Crédit Agricole before joigning CDC as Director of Strategic Investment Management at Caisse des Dépôts.
Marcos Garcia
Group Legal Affairs, Finances, Risks and Compliance Officer
A graduate of HEC Paris, he started out as Chief Financial Officer of Veolia in Spain. He joined Transdev in 2011.
Caroline Gonin
Transdev Group Chief Human Resources Officer
Graduated from Paris II Assas in Labor Law, she began her career at Areva, Alstom, Renault-Nissan and Valeo. She joined Transdev’s executive committee in July 2021.
Antoine Colas
CEO International (Canada, Latin America, Africa, Middle East, Asia-Pacific)
A graduate of IEP Paris and holder of a DESS in Business Law, he started his career at BNP Paribas before joining the AMF and later the CDC, before joining the Transdev Executive Committee.
Antoine Grange
CEO Europe
Graduated from Ecole Polytechnique in 1993 and alumnus of Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées (1995), he began his career at GTM (a Suez subsidary), before joining successively ELIS, then Suez. He becomes Transdev’s CEO Europe in April 19, 2022
Edouard Hénaut
CEO France and Group Security
A graduate of Centrale Nantes and ESCP, he joined Suez Group in 1997. Previously, he was General Manager of the Municipal services of Suez Recycling & Recovery France.
Laura Hendricks
CEO USA
A graduate of Xavier University, she was CEO of several companies including Paint Drop, Coach America and Merry Maids. She joined Transdev in 2019 as Director of Transit activities in the USA.
Martin Becker-Rethmann
CEO Germany
After a degree in Business Administration from the Berufsakademie in Stuttgart, he started his career at the German Treuhandanstalt. Then, he joined ALBA Group, MVV Umwelt, and most recently REMONDIS Energy & Services.

The Board of Directors

The Board of Directors supervises and guides the group Transdev’s strategy, authorizes its strategic decisions, and ensures they are correctly implemented. The Board bases its decisions on the advice of specialized committees, such as Strategy Committee, Appointments and Remunerations Committee, and Audit Committee. The Board of Directors is composed of:

The Board of Directors also comprises an advisory member from RETHMANN Group, Egbert Tölle. The secretary of the Board is Florence Weingarten.

As its majority shareholder and long-term financial partner, Caisse des Dépôts provides Transdev with solid, lasting support. The two groups share the same public interest values, and the same purpose: to support the economic development of all regions.
